After Arjit's advice, here I'm with a brand new section on MTV-ational Pull. My inTerView section. So our first guest is our very own, Nitin. Check out how Nitin became what he is today, What does he think about the Members of our Community, His mistakes, Achievements and everything. And yes, Vishal, Stuti, Priyanka and Anoop's Questions are also included.
Pallavi: As a child, what did you always wanted to become?
Nitin: An adult. You get to do the better things in life with a driving license to flash around. And life's been good ever since.
Pallavi:Now when you are an adult, Do you feel like going back to the time when you were a kid?
Nitin:Yes, absolutely. Simpler times. Lesser worries of the world.
Pallavi: I agree. Ok so moving on, Tell me Nitin, Are you materialistic?
Nitin: Well... I've had the same phone for 6 years now and I can't let it go to buy a new one. Emotional attachment to the first one. I've even named them, my phone, my laptop - so yes, materialistic in a good way.
Pallavi: Oh yes, And how can we forget Faded? Your Denim right?
Pallavi: Everyone has seen your album on Orkut Nitin!
Nitin: Those pair of jeans went missing for a year or so.
Pallavi: Really? So didn't you call it by the name, So that you find them again by any chance?
Pallavi: I'm glad you got them, Be careful with Mr.Faded now :)Okay, So the next question for you Nitin is, How did MTV happen to you?
Nitin: MTV happened to me by pure chance. I just drifted onto this community around the time Roadies 5.0 was starting and started writing critiques and giving my take on the show and such, Happened to catch the right eyes and then one fine afternoon, I get a call asking me if I wanted to come work for MTV on a little project called Roadies Battleground.
Pallavi: That sounds like Bedtime stories, Nice to hear, Adventurous and fun. :) Okay Nitin, So tell me What’s the major change that came in your life after joining MTV?
Nitin: Major change would be that I know what I wanna do with life after college. See, MTV happened to me at a very crucial time
Pallavi: Crucial time as in?
Nitin: I was stuck in the wrong part of the world pursuing what I was totally not meant to and MTV was my escape from a boring college and #@$*! people.Met a lot of likeminded people on the community and at MTV, some are my closest friends to this date.And I love the change. I needed one.
Pallavi: Alright Nitin. You are happy working with MTV then. Rather very happy.
Nitin: Absolutely. Enough to rub it in everyone's face. HA HA!
Pallavi: This is my favorite question, How do you feel when some of the most beautiful girls from the community look at you and their hearts sink?
Nitin: I feel, "Wow, there are actually girls like that or is it just you?" :)
Nitin: And if there are, I have just one thing to ask them 'Tu legi mera service?'Girls dont talk to me despite of MTV. So well. Although, yes I do have my fun playing the fake talent scout fooling girls to send in their portfolios but thats a different matter entirely.
Pallavi : So you do that too? I have to be careful then, Haha. Okay so the next question for you Nitin, Have you ever abused MTV Webmaster? If yes, does he know about it?
Nitin: LOL,Only in good spirit, And to his face, No back biting. Me and him, we can call each other bastards and have a good laugh about it the very next minute.
Pallavi: HAHA, It's hard to imagine you two having such conversations for me. So not even once in bad way? Out of frustration or anything?
Nitin: It has come from that end, yes.During the many times I've fucked up over my course of work. But I wouldnt pick a fight with the guy. People have and they've got their asses kicked inside, so well.
Pallavi: I hope Webbie appreciates your honesty xD. Well, Nitin I'm sure people would like to know this. One achievement and one mistake of your life …?
Nitin: Sounds repeated but yeah MTV will always be THE acheivement as of now.And mistakes aplenty, ask me one mistake I made in the last month and I'd have to think which one would be safest to tell.
Pallavi: But still, The biggest, worst one out of the heaps?
Nitin: Ok, there is this one that Webbie likes to remind me of every now and then just to make me feel all uggh about it. At a party, got major drunk and did some unmentionable things with an unmentionable female, and next morning I had the faintest idea of it. I'd have forgotten it by now if it not were for the constant reminders Webbie keeps giving me.
Pallavi: Okay, Hope you get over it soon :P So Nitin tell me who's the most important person in your life?
Pallavi: Sweet :) Ok so that gives me another question, What kind of person are you? Mamma's boy?
Nitin: Not really, Lets see... fun, intelligent, hilarious and more fun. Somewhat about it.
Pallavi: And the guy who abuses even in dreams :P
Nitin: Kaun C#$#%$%a Bola aisa? That actually is something that sorta just flows naturally. Talent hai.
Nitin: On Webbie's chair. I'll make it there in 7 ;)
Pallavi: Good luck with it, I'll be glad to see you there. :) . Fine so let's move on, What kind of people irritate you the most?
Nitin: People who don't get humour, I mean its criminal to see a well made joke not get the response it deserves. Happens a whole lot in the forums, such smart one-liners that nobody notices. And people who are hypocritical about it. And the chakkas that go around giving open threats when they mean shit.And more such. I think I like some 20 people in the world right now. Everyone else irritates me.
Pallavi: So everyone irritates you. LOL. Okay, So Nitin Are you dating anyone?
Nitin: Naah, No one as of now.
what lesson did you learn after that whole angie episode?
Nitin: I learnt to always check for the Adam’s apple and in extreme cases, a bit of cupping downstairs.
Seriously though, it was a rude awakening to all of us I guess, and though the Still Waiting... video was exaggerated for humour sake, it did catch all of us off-guard, so it was a learning that way to be a little bit more careful around here.
Pallavi: Is this the reason for your rudeness? I'm sorry but you are rude at times.
Nitin: No no, I've been rude since much before Angie, ask the oldies. They all used to hate me once. Even Roop (who is now willing to have my babies, btw)
Pallavi: LOL.Ok, Are you an introvert then?
Nitin:Was in school. Big time. Opened up during the last few years of school and now I'm more an extrovert. I do still have lengthy conversations with myself though but mostly its just about how awesome I am.
Pallavi: Ok Mr. Extrovert, This interview is disclosing more than expected stuff :P So next question is from Vishal, What is the role of your's with MTV Officially? What do you do?
Nitin: : Interned with them for a couple months last year and managed RBG along with another intern at that time, Sehran. Went back this year and took over as co-project managers (bigger designation, more back breaking work) of Battleground. During my times there I've helped out on everything from the Tickr, to F5, to Lost in Translation to some of the newer shows you'll be seeing on MTV soon. Officially that would make me a producer + writer.

Nitin: Ha Ha! Jab bhi hoga, tujhe bata ke jaaunga. Bata dena if you want some goodies from VIA-AGRA.
Pallavi: Who do you think in the Community has the potential to be someone bigger than who you are now?
Nitin: Pavi, I am not famous or popular there. Its the Raghas and the Mohit Kochars that are the true stars of the place. I don't know really. I am glad if they're fond of me and if they despise me I'm glad I still have their attention.
Pallavi: I came across so many people who are fond of you Nitin, Including me. :) Would you like to give any message to the Community members?
Nitin: Uh, watch Roadies 7 this Sunday @ 7 and stay as insane as you guys always are!
